Is Arzu an idiot? Why are you provoking responses in someone whose responses you’re afraid of? And did you honestly think you could kill someone so easily with a DINNER KNIFE?
I get that Cennet is supposed to be noble and pure of heart and all, but she’s actually just incredibly gullible and unrealistic. Her repeated interactions with Arzu are just self-harm; and her refusal to imprison a crazy woman who tried to BURN HER ALIVE is nothing short of idiocy. Melissa was actually dangerous. To let someone like that roam around without consequence is actually absurd.
The person who’s noble and righteous is Selim. He tells Cennet everything even if he thinks it will offend her, and he always wants to do the right thing, even when it’s inconvenient for him. He also has real reactions: we see that in way he first rejected his parents when he found out the truth and then learned to understand them, as well as his anger and subsequent forgiveness of Cennet for what he perceived as a betrayal.
