Following their graduation, her schoolmate Melisa’s mother offers her a dream job at her successful firm. How disgusting that a woman with a litany of sins stretched out behind her more numerous than the stars DARES to say she will “punish” someone else. Was I ever supposed to feel sympathy for Arzu? I’ve thought this since the beginning: Melissa is a predator. Her “love” for Selim is obsessive and destructive. She thinks she can make him happy but she truly only cares about herself.
