The writers made a big mistake with this story. I can’t feel the chemistry between the main characters. Probably because I don’t like Sancar’s character. Any rational woman won’t allow herself to be drawn back to a man that’s treated her so badly/abusively.

It’s not really about what ppl deserve, but what they need. What they can convince their hearts to accept. That’s why Sancar and Nare are so terrifying. All those years. The chasm between them filled with fury, grief, and betrayal is MILES deep, and yet they STILL feel it? STILL? Their hearts move for each other? Terrifying.
Meneske confuses me. Why would you want your husband to come to your bed looking like he’s being led to the gallows? He was undergoing an intense crisis and still didn’t speak to you for like 4 days. Didn’t even notice you. You’re nobody. Those government papers don’t mean sh*t. I would have BEEN gone.
