Slowly but surely Sancar is learning to control his rage. He no longer makes decisions while in the midst of his fury and he can think past his own pain. He learns from his mistakes and does not repeat them. THIS time, feeling he had been betrayed, he gave the benefit of the doubt to the one he loves instead of the stranger, even when that advantage was hard to give. Sancar learns. He is selfish, unfair, insensitive, and deeply possessive; but he LEARNS. Nare? Home girl is still fleeing from her problems and insisting on claiming victimhood instead of agency. How could she tell Sancar’s sisters that story like that? Like you’re still 18. Like after all this time you can’t understand why he reacted like that? Sancar acknowledges that he was wrong and accepts his punishment and condemnation from all comers, never saying a word, even though he could justify himself that he was deceived. He doesn’t. He keeps quiet. But Nare out here talking like letting your husband come to your marriage bed expecting to consummate your purity to each other without telling him you’ve just been freshly assualted wasn’t a HUGE mistake.
