There’s one thing about shows that I never got. The characters always do this, and it doesn’t make any sense; I would have thought at least super soldier/agent Marasli would know better. Once someone knows a secret about you, or has something to hold over you, they have control of your agency. You CANNOT allow this, not for any reason. Reveal the secret yourself. Craft your own narrative and spin it to the most advantage you can. A secret known by your enemies is no longer YOUR secret, so it makes no sense to delay. Never bargain with a blackmailer. Go and tell it yourself and reclaim your power.
