I can’t bring myself to waste my sympathy on Irmak. She deliberately makes choices that will harm herself and then wonders why she’s so miserable. Sigh.
I too have been 17, impulsive, vindictive, and easily offended. I get why Atlas would have been so outraged by Irmak when he came to the hospital after nearly dying and discovering that she believed bullsh*t Sociopath Boy before even asking him what had happened. I get it. I do. I completely understand why he left. But Atlas, you’re not 17 anymore. Irmak NEEDS to know how she wronged you, and you NEED to tell her. That’s what’s fair to you both, and whatever comes from it, comes from it. The truth should have been the first thing out of his mouth when he saw her again.
