Yilmaz, who commits murder in order to protect Zuleyha from the cruelty of her own family, and Zuleyha who would rather die than give up on Yilmaz who became a murderer for the sake of his beloved, embark on a grueling escape journey.. Zuleyha is both boring and stupid. Every time a problem arises, she just cries. Like, my God girl, all these resources, let’s use them to get something done. And also, get a clue. You don’t find it the least bit super duper weird that your husband forbids you to say your brother’s name and kept you from seeing him in prison and get violent every time you mention him? Demir is so obvious, how could she not suspect.
I am also not a zuleyha fan, she really irritates me along with yilmaz. But I cannot deny she was abused and raped through her marriage. She reluctantly agreed to go into this marriage to save yilmaz. But you are right, she could have done something so the mess did not prolong too. Its not only zuleyha, but even sabahattin could have helped her. But i think at that time they did not yilmaz would come out alive from prison because the crime he committed was a dealth penalty, so him surving that took everyone by surprise, even zuleyha. But what irritates me about zuleyha, she writes endless letters to yilmaz saying she was forced to get married and adnan was his son, and she has seen him alone face to face, so why could she not tell yilmaz to his face. They ruined mujgan’s life too as a result of the stupidity, before yilmaz dated mujgan he asked zuleyha one to one if she is happy in her marriage, and he gave her hint he will move on with his life, because at that point yilmaz met mujgan and was attracted to her, but obviously his love for zuleyha was so strong he did not want to get into a relationship if there was hope with zuleyha. But zuleyha does what she is always good at, is playing the victim with every bloody thing, she should have been honest with yilmaz, the fact she written letters, did she never think it was better for her to tell him. What will the letter do, yilmaz would have been angry regardless, at least face to face he would have read her fears on the face. Even yilmaz mentioned this in episode 43 after their botched runaway attempt, but zuleyha of course has to play miss victim shooting him down for that. Yes zuleyha suffered, but she also prolonged this mess when she had opportunities to be open about it.
